Biography

Fasha Adani serves as an Academic Advisor for the College of the Arts & Architecture. He earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Master of Science in Cultural Foundations of Community Engagement and Education from UWM. Prior to joining the advising team, Fasha worked as a Student Success Coach supporting students through individualized success coaching, academic and financial resource navigation, leadership development, and student success programming. He also served as a Campus Ambassador in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, where he led campus tours for prospective students, families, and community partners. These experiences have given him a strong understanding of the UWM student experience and a commitment to creating welcoming, supportive, and student-centered advising relationships.

Outside of work, Fasha is a longtime member of the judo community. He previously competed in judo up to the national level, and currently serves as a Judo Coach at Judo Ju-jitsu Madison, where he works with youth and adults through recreational and competitive training. He also enjoys playing soccer and is a passionate Manchester United fan. When he's not working, on the judo mat, or the soccer field, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and staying connected to the communities that have shaped him.
