In her exhibition “Rituals + Vessels,” Milwaukee-based artist and PSOA alum Ava Hager (Art BFA, 2022) showcases her sculptures made of bent wood and tea bags. Influenced by her own health challenges and the loss of her mother, Hager’s art reflects her personal journey. Through her installations, Hager invites viewers to engage in rituals such as tea drinking and meditation, creating a space for reflection and self-awareness.
