This is the weather bulletin service of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

UWM classes that start at or after 4 p.m. will be cancelled on Monday, March 13, due to snow. Exams scheduled this evening will be rescheduled. University buildings will remain open, although some will close early:

  • The UWM Student Union will close at 10 p.m., which is two hours earlier than usual. All food outlets will operate during their normal hours and the Union Cinema screening of the Oscar-winning “Moonlight” will be held as scheduled at 7 p.m. The Union Studio Arts and Crafts Center and Union Recreation Center will operate normal hours if staffing allows.
  • The Klotsche Center and Pavilion will close at 10 p.m. All Intramural and Sport Club programming is cancelled. All Group X classes are cancelled except HIIT from 5-5:30 p.m. and Guts & Butts from 5:45–6:15 p.m.

When possible, the following timeline is followed for cancellation of classes.

Class Start Time Announcement Time
7:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Preferably by 6 a.m., and no later than 6:45 a.m.
12 – 4 p.m. Before 10:30 a.m.
4 p.m. or later Before 2 p.m.
