Weisner-Hanks on PBS film about Martin Luther

Merry Wiesner-Hanks, distinguished professor of history, appears in “Martin Luther: The Idea that Changed the World.” The program premiered nationwide on PBS on September 12, 2017.

L&S Focus: Alumna Meg MetCalf

Women’s & Gender Studies announces our annual call for scholarship applications. Applications are now being accepted for the WGS Scholarship and Florence L. Healy Scholarship in Women’s & Gender Studies. The deadline is April 28, 2017.

Creating The Supper Club

Krista Grensavitch’s students collaborated to create The Supper Club, a local reinterpretation of Judy Chicago’s The Dinner Party. First exhibited in 1979, The Dinner Party seeks to address the repeated erasure of women’s achievements from the historical and cultural record. See the video.
