Isabella Virrueta
- MKE Scholars Success Coach
Isabella (Isa) was born in El Paso, Texas but was raised primarily in southeastern Wisconsin. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Master of Science in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Isa lives in the Milwaukee area with her husband, son, and two cats.
In her role as Student Success Coach for the MKE Scholars program, Isa’s primary focus is to support students through a holistic coaching model. Isa supports students through 1:1 coaching meetings, managing the required Summer Experience program, and connecting students to opportunities on and off campus. The MKE Scholars program is open to students who have participated in local community-based organizations that include but are not limited to All-In MKE, College Possible, Pearls for Teen Girls, Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, Carmen High Schools of Science & Technology, Boys and Girl’s Club of Greater Milwaukee and Dane County, and MPS schools.
