Maren Mckeand

Hello! My name is Maren, I use they/them pronouns, and I am so excited to be the tutor for L&S NS 100 this Fall! I am a fourth-year Secondary Math Education major, currently student teaching in a 7th grade Math class at South Milwaukee Middle School (go Rockets!) A couple fun facts about me are: I am from Minnesota, I love music and collect CDs of many many genres, and I love purple.

I have not always liked math, and it hasn't always come easy for me, but I do love puzzles! It is so satisfying to finally figure something out after a lot of hard work, and that's the mentality that I hope to help you achieve throughout this course!
