Gainful Employment

The Rhetorical Leadership Certificate Program is subject to gainful employment regulations.

See: Gainful Employment Certificate Disclosure Information.

Although the Rhetorical Leadership Certificate requires only 15 credits, the required classes for the program may be scheduled so that they are spread across a three-year cycle so that other curricular needs of the department can be met (e.g., sufficient variety of course offerings for degree-seeking students who are staying for some years). Thus, one may need to take courses part-time across a period of years, depending on when those required courses are scheduled and when a student enters the Certificate program, in order to complete the requirements.
