Join us as UWM’s Dr. Sarah Vigeland describes the recent exciting discovery of low-frequency gravitational waves using pulsar timing arrays. These gravitational waves primarily come from supermassive binary black holes, and their growth and evolution are connected to the growth and evolution of their host galaxies.

Milwaukee Shapes the Universe is a series focused on innovative space research and technologies being developed at UW-Milwaukee. Researchers will share their latest technologies and ideas around space tech and innovation.

Reserve your spot(s) by registering for this event in advance. Tickets will be available in the hallway outside of the Planetarium starting 30 minutes before the show starts; however, due to the popularity of this event we recommend that you sign up here to reserve your spot.
