Exploring Exoplanets with the James Webb Space Telescope

October 7, 14, November 4, 11, December 2, 9, 2022

7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CT

The James Webb Space Telescope (NASA’s successor to the Hubble Telescope) was launched on December 25, 2021. As the largest, most powerful space telescope ever built, the James Webb Space Telescope will serve as the premier deep space observatory for the next decade. Learn about our ever-expanding view of the universe and the search for new and exciting worlds beyond our solar system.

The program will include an indoor stargazing session of the night sky followed by the opportunity to ask questions. Not recommended for children under 4. For questions about this event, please email planetarium@uwm.edu.

Due to the confined space of the planetarium, we strongly recommend that our visitors wear masks when visiting the planetarium, regardless of vaccination status.
