The Language Resource Center (LRC) supports the learning and teaching of all languages at UWM by providing resources to instructors and students.

Faculty members and instructors can use the LRC to access language learning materials including multimedia curriculum materials. Staff of the LRC provide guidance and training on new technology related to the teaching of languages and can be consulted on the best practices in pedagogy, especially in the area of online or blended classes. Many instructors access LRC with the goal of expanding their curriculum or developing new materials to use in the classroom. Frequent workshops on these topics round out the programming offered by the LRC to faculty and teaching staff.

For students, LRC maintains a library of materials are for use in our labs or for home study via the web. We encourage and support students' use of of new technologies and media in their journey of learning, including D2L, online video, multilingual computing, and other voice and video enabled tools.
