Thomas Armstrong was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. After graduating high school he earned an associate’s degree and worked in radio, eventually deciding to return to school to earn a bachelor’s degree in Japanese. Currently, he is a fourth-year Japanese major here at UWM. He has spent a total of six months studying in Japan and is always looking forward to his next opportunity to travel there.
