School of Information Studies Program Rep
Program Reps is a new initiative by the Student Association to ensure every student at UWM has a voice in their student government. The SOIS Program Rep is elected by classmates in their academic program to represent their majors for the academic year. If you have a concern or issue that needs to be addressed within your course, your Program Rep can help.
We’re seeking people from EVERY major to be the eyes and ears for change – to listen up and speak out about the specific needs or students in your discipline. If you’ve got limited time to commit, but want to make a positive impact on your campus, this is the perfect opportunity for you! This is a great way to build leadership experience and connections on campus, enhance your resume, and give back to the UWM community. Responsibilities include serving as the first point person for student suggestions and concerns, attendance at a working luncheon with your assigned academic senator once a semester, and biweekly email check-ins.

Society of American Archivist Student (SAA) Student Chapter
