nonprof-IT student group standing around a large poster describing their project

Nonprof-IT provides IT solutions and support at no cost, saving participating organizations thousands of dollars.

In return, UWM students gain real-world experience working on project teams, providing technology solutions, and receive credits toward graduation while developing a passion for service.  To date, 154 nonprofits have received IT assistance and 517 students have participated.

Project types include website creation and redesign, social media assistance and campaigns, graphic design and technology assessment. Projects are undertaken during the university’s fall and spring semesters each academic year. Interested organizations and UW-Milwaukee students are encouraged to apply for this one-of-a-kind opportunity.

We want to thank our current funding supporters the Forest County Potawatomi Foundation, the Evan and Marion Helfaer Foundation, and The Frieda and William Hunt Memorial Trust.

Thank you to our past sponsors for providing grant and scholarship funding support. Thank you to the Greater Milwaukee Foundation and Direct Supply.
