A week-long series of events through the DREAMERS initiative with the focus on spreading awareness and celebrating the achievements of undocumented individuals.

Spring 2024 Undocuweek Events

Undocuweek Kick-Off!
Monday April 8th, 10:00am – 3:00pm

Join us to commence our 2024 UndocuWeek celebration with a paint and sip style hang out! Unleash your creativity with a variety of crafts while you sip on refreshing beverages, socialize with peers, and learn more about the Dreamers Initiative and UndocuWeek. Limited supplies, but unlimited good vibes. 

How to Write a Letter to Your State Representative – Advocating for the UnDACA Community
Tuesday April 9th, 1:00pm – 2:30pm

Passionate about social issues? Want to write a letter to your state representative, but not sure what that entails? Join us as we host the Advocacy Team from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Milwaukee to learn how to write a letter to your state representative advocating for the undocumented and DACAmented communities or other social issues! 

UnDACAmented in College: An Interactive Experience
Wednesday April 10th, 2:00-4:00pm

Join us for an interactive role-playing game that asks you the question “what would you do if your citizenship status was different or changed while in college?”. This game and discussion will give participants a glimpse into the reality and struggle of many college students in our country face to get an education just like you. 

3rd Annual Breaking Stereotypes One Plate at a Time
Thursday April 11th, 1:30pm-3:30pm

his cultural exhibit will transport you around the undocumented world through food, art, and knowledge. Join the Dreamers Initiative for our closing UndocuWeek event celebrating the diverse contributions of the undocumented community, and break down the stereotypes of who is undocumented.

Free Legal Consultations with an Immigration Attorney

Once again, we are offering legal counseling this spring! Immigration lawyer Kevin Layde of Layde & Parra S.C. is here completely free of cost for those who have questions regarding DACA, immigration, etc. These sessions are completely confidential, and are offered in both English and Spanish.
