Please join the Department of Art History for the opening of Graduate Student Samantha Maloney’s Thesis Exhibition. Face. Off. Faceoff: Mapping African Representations in Western Art Museums aims to investigate how influential representations of African art objects, cultures, and histories within Western art museums impact contemporary museum audiences.

The exhibit runs from February 28 to April 4, 2019.

The Opening Reception will take place Thursday, February 28, 5-7pm with a talk by the curator at 5:30pm.

A Closing Reception will also be held from 5-7pm on April 4.
