Professor Vang named a Distinguished Lecturer by the OAH

Congratulations to Professor Chia Youyee Vang who is the recipient of one of the historical profession’s top honors. This fall Professor Vang was made a Distinguished Lecturer by the Organization of American Historians. The Distinguished Lectureship Program facilitates keynote addresses by leading historians in a variety of fields in US history. Professor Vang will offer several lectures related to Hmong refugee resettlement in the United States and the Vietnam War. More information can be found here .
