History MA Gavin’s essay on indigenous dispossession in Hawai’i

Congratulations to History MA student Marissa Gavin, whose article detailing the ongoing struggle to prohibit the building of the Thirty Meter Telescope, an advanced space observatory, on the sacred site of Mauna Kea mountain on the island of Hawai’i was published this summer by the History News Network.
