Explorer Post 600 Open House
September 23 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Do you have a student who is interested in freshwater sciences? Are they passionate about marine biology, aquatic ecosystems, or environmental science? If the answer to both of these questions is ‘yes’, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
UWM’s School of Freshwater Sciences is the proud new home to Explorer Post 600 with Scouting America. Exploring is open to all young men and women between 14 and 20 years of age. This program offers young adults a personal awareness of freshwater science through training, practical experiences, competition, and many other activities. Additionally, Explorer Post 600 promotes personal growth through character development, respect for the environment and conservation, Great Lakes education, and collaboration with both peers and faculty.
On Wednesday, Sept. 23rd, we’re hosting an information night at Great Lakes Research Facility. Join us for more details about Exploring and the many valuable opportunities it provides! You’ll also have the chance to enroll in Explorer Post 600 at the information night.
