EVENT CHANGED – FOCB Annual Winter Hike into the Heart of the Bog

We will Snowshoe (Snowshoes required) in the Field Station Beechwoods State Natural Area at 1:30, Sunday, 2/4/2024, as scheduled.
The Chili Dinner is postponed (we will plan something for Spring). The bog is not frozen this year. There is still snow-cover at the Saukville Field Station. With temperatures above freezing on Sunday, the trails will be unusable without snowshoes. If you have, or can get, snowshoes, we can hike till our legs fall off. We can see the backcountry of the Station. There will be many opportunities to turn back for a shorter hike; we will leave a trail!
