Bog Ice Update for Winter Hike

  • We will have good, solid, safe ice for our hike to Long and Donut Lakes on February 1 at 1:30pm.
  • There is a light snow cover which should provide good footing.
  • Please bring your ice cleats along with you in case conditions change and there is slick ice.
  • Dress for the weather and stay on the main trail.   Safety glasses or sunglasses are always recommended for walking in the Bog.
  • We are in for a beautiful and memorable hike in our amazing wetland as long as we are dressed for the conditions!
