Students, faculty and staff of the College of Engineering & Applied Science are welcome to join us for our annual back to school welcome event held outside on the EMS Plaza (between EMS and Physics).
- Meet students, faculty and staff from our college.
- Learn about our student organizations.
- Play some lawn games (bag toss, giant Jenga, ping pong, giant checkers).
- Collect stamps at different tables to win a prize.
- Keep an eye out for Pounce!
- Group photo with Pounce, students, faculty and staff at 12:15 pm.
Welcome
- Check-in hosted by your Academic Advisors (bring your ID.)
- Get your stamp card
- You need the stamp card to get your free lunch.
- Write your name, major and preferred contact info on the card.
- See what kind of prizes you can get for stamps.
- Ask any questions you might have.

Collect Stamps for a Prize
- Meet some people from our college community and collect stamps from the student orgs, your deans and our college departments tables to get a prize.

- Get a free t-shirt from our college (while supplies last).
Prizes
- The more stamps, the better the prize! Redeem at check-in table by 1:30 pm.
- 1-3 stamps = sticker, magnet or keychain
- 4-5 stamps = short lanyard or 5-in-1 engineer pen
- 6-7 stamps = pint glass, mason jar, or coffee mug
- 8-10 stamps = baseball hat, journal
- 11+ stamps = umbrella
- One prize per person, while supplies last.
