Research Seminar: Modeling Smart Vehicles in a Smart World

Dr. Suzhou Huang recently retired from Ford Research and Advanced Engineering as an Executive Technical Leader. Prior to that, he served as Director, Analytics R&D, Global Data and Analytics, Ford Motor and Ford Credit, respectively. He holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from MIT.

Dr. Huang will present a game theoretical modeling framework that is capable of addressing issues in decision-making for autonomous vehicles, human driving behaviors, and design & optimization of transportation systems. Examples are used to illustrate why and how all the three aspects should and can be unified. One central theme is on the systematic multi-agent coordination.
