Research Seminar: A Roadmap of Cooperative & Automated Transportation

XIAOPENG LI is the Director of the Connected and Autonomous Transportation Systems (CATS) Lab at UW-Madison. He also served as the director of the National Institute for Congestion Reduction. He is the recipient of an NSF CAREER award and has served as the PI/co-PI for many federal and state-sponsored projects. His major research interests are automated vehicle traffic control and connected & infrastructure systems.

Dr. Xiaopeng’s talk will cover a roadmap of cooperative & automated transportation through a cooperative control framework. Relevant methods, technologies and policy issues will be discussed. He will also briefly introduce other relevant research on electrical vehicles and infrastructure systems.
