30 students in a computer lab

When you earn a web development certificate, you’ll set yourself apart in the job market and increase your job security in many fields.

UWM’s Web Development Certificate offers students and those who have already earned a degree the opportunity to complement their major field of study with a concentration in web programming. The 18-credit certificate can be completed without any prior experience in computing or with only 12 additional credits, if completed with a computing major.

Web development tools change quickly, and this program is designed to make sure you know and understand the foundations that remain constant.
