Wisconsin Technology Council Innovation Network Luncheon

Andy Graettinger, associate dean for research, will represent UWM when the Tech Council Innovation Network hosts a panel of regional tech transfer and engineering experts to discuss the United States Innovation and Competition Act of 2021. The recently enacted legislation could prompt greater commercialization of technologies found in Wisconsin’s academic research and industry sectors.
The event will take place Oct. 19 at UWM’s Innovation Accelerator, 1225 Discovery Parkway. Registration, networking and hors d’oeuvres start at 11:30 a.m.; presentation at 12:30 p.m.
The panel will discuss opportunities and challenges for Wisconsin, including ideas for regional collaborations in select disciplines that would make the state a strong candidate for federal dollars. For information on the event, registration, and cost, click here.
