School of Education alum Ashley Valentine will present a program on her journey as a teacher and entrepreneur at the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center December 9 from 9:00 – 11:30 am.
Valentine, who was profiled on the School of Education news page, is the owner of Rooted MKE, a tutoring/literacy center and bookstore focused on serving the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and people of color) community. The program, which will be held in the atrium, is part of the Center’s Social Good Morning.
