Success For All

The Division of Community Empowerment & Institutional Inclusivity coordinates efforts that contribute to a healthy campus culture for all students, employees, and visitors.

We collaborate widely across campus to coordinate UWM’s engagement strategy.

We bolster engaged, applied research in our community and around the world, and deliver campus programming that brings the world to Milwaukee.

Framework

Student Success

All students have access to equitable resources and experiences to help them thrive.

Diverse Talent

Innovative strategies are implemented to recruit, develop, retain, and promote.

Climate & Culture

Everyone is responsible for helping to build an inclusive campus community where everyone is valued and has a sense of belonging.

Community Impact

As an integral part of the local and global communities, the university is responsible for co-creating a shared, equitable future on campus and beyond.
