More broadly, these efforts reflect the importance of upholding our campus Guiding Values. We are a large and complex community made up of 32,000+ people across three campuses who are outstanding students, employees and mentors. And, like most large organizations, we will have individuals whose behaviors do not personify or uphold our guiding values. When we are made aware of possible misconduct, we investigate and take appropriate action. While we often receive questions about the outcome of specific investigations, particularly those that may have appeared in the news, by policy and sometimes by law, we cannot report on the disposition of specific student conduct or personnel matters. Nonetheless, please be assured that we take all reports of sexual misconduct seriously and move as quickly as we can to address such situations.
We rely on our community, including faculty, staff, students, and others to report such misconduct, and we have resources available for those who have experienced sexual violence.

As a campus and system, we have made great strides to address the intolerable issue of sexual misconduct. And at UWM, we have enhanced our policies, streamlined our reporting mechanisms, and expanded support resources. UW-Milwaukee is home to remarkable students, faculty and staff, and I am committed to maintaining a healthy, inclusive and safe environment for all. Thank you for everything you do to create and maintain this environment and uphold our guiding values.
Best regards,
