Hester Blum: Brown Bag Discussion

Join us for a special virtual brown bag discussion with Hester Blum (Penn State)! She will be discussing an in-progress piece, “I, Nuligak and Indigenous Arctic Temporalities.”

**Blum will also be giving a special lecture on Thursday, February 25 from 3:30-5:00 sponsored by the UWM English Department titled, “A Humanist in the Northwest Passage.”**

Hester Blum is the author of The News at the Ends of the Earth: The Print Culture of Polar Exploration (Duke, 2019), and recently returned from the Canadian Arctic with the Northwest Passage Project to research effects of the climate crisis.
