The Lubar College of Business welcomes these new faculty members!
Rachel Gazaryan
Lecturer in Accounting
Ms. Gazaryan specializes in the area of managerial accounting. Prior to joining the Lubar College of Business, she worked for six years in public accounting with KPMG LLP, most recently as an audit manager. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from UWM’s Lubar College of Business.
Lisa Lipkins
Lecturer in Marketing
Dr. Lipkins has extensive experience in curriculum development in the areas of advertising, marketing research marketing management, marketing channels, consumer behavior, sales, and entrepreneurship. Her research interests focus on brand management tactics that marketers employ to access more clients, and how service elements within relationship marketing affect sales. She has previously taught at Reinhardt University, Averett University, and Chattahoochee Technical College. She earned her DBA from Walden University. Dr. Lipkins joined the faculty in spring 2022.
Delia Valentine
Assistant Professor of Accounting
Dr. Valentine specializes in empirical research in auditing. Her current research focuses on audit partner disclosures in the United States to examine the influence of individuals in leadership positions on audit quality. She teaches in the areas of accounting analytics and fraud. Dr. Valentine previously worked as an auditor in public accounting as well as a corporate accounting manager in real estate, private equity, and healthcare industries. She earned her PhD in Accounting from Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business.
