Biography
Tracey Radloff is a full time certified Iyengar yoga instructor at the Junior Intermediate Level. She began her yoga practice in 1999 while studying for her BFA in Art Education. Tracey found that yoga helped to stabilize her emotions, build her self-confidence, and relieve her chronic lower back pain. In her own words, “From the very beginning of my practice, yoga made me feel more comfortable in my skin.”
Tracey now teaches Introduction to Iyengar Yoga at the UWM through the Dance Department as well as classes at the Riverwest Yogashala. Her teaching method is described as well-grounded, spirited, and attentive to the individual aspects of her students.
As part of her continual professional training, Tracey has attended numerous workshops and teacher trainings with prominent Iyengar instructors including: Chris Saudek, Laurie Blakeney, Kevin Gardiner, Eddie Marks, Mary Obendorfer, John Schumacher, Bobby Clennell, Lois Steinberg and others. Tracey also has attended IYNAUS Yoga Conferences with Geeta Iyengar in 2010 and Abhijata Iyengar in 2016 and 2019.
Tracey has become sought out as a mentor to students interested in becoming instructors and furthering their own training in the Iyengar method. She is honored and excited to help share her years of experience and practice with those who, just like her, have recognized the unique benefits of Iyengar yoga.
