Biography

Inna Dmitrieva is a Russian-born filmmaker currently living and working in Milwaukee, WI. In her moving-image practice, she combines elements of documentary, essay film, and abstraction to investigate the relationship between language, estranged individuals, and the spaces they inhabit or leave behind. Her works have screened nationally and internationally at festivals and galleries, including Alchemy Film Festival, mujerDOC, Kinoskop, and Milwaukee Film Festival.
