Biography
Chandler Dillingham is quickly gaining recognition as a rising pedagogue and performer in the classical guitar world.
He has performed across the United States as a solo artist and chamber musician, earning prizes in multiple competitions at the national level, including the Schubert Club Competition, Southern Guitar Festival, Eastern Music Festival, and Society of American Musicians Competition. Chandler has also been invited to perform at prominent venues in the Midwestern United States, such as the Ravinia Festival and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Concert Series.
Beyond his performance career, Chandler is a dedicated teacher and researcher. He has delivered lectures on effective practice techniques for organizations such as Latino Arts Inc. and the Guitar Foundation of America, establishing himself as an authority in the field of music education. His research focuses on how students can prepare efficiently for various performance settings, offering valuable insights that have accelerated the progress of students in his private teaching studio.
Chandler serves as a lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he teaches courses in classical guitar performance and musicology. He is proud to be endorsed by Augustine Strings and Crossrock Cases.
