Applicants may audition in-person or digitally. While an in-person audition is recommended, we understand some applicants may need to submit a video audition.

NOTE: Only available dates are included below.
Please let us know if require special accommodations or have any requests to help us better assist you on your interview date.

Video Submissions

Students that are unable to make it to campus for an in-person audition may submit a video audition. Videos should be recorded in a studio or gym, not a residential space like a living room or bedroom (if at all possible). The videos can be uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo, or a file sharing site like Google Drive or Dropbox. The links, plus related explanations and/or passwords, if not publicly shared, should also be included.

Applicants should record themselves in three videos:
1. A video of dancing in a technique class
2. Another video of dancing in a technique class
3. One solo performance
Dance Technique Performance URLs(Required)
Use the plus sign to provide links to two videos approximately 10-15 minutes each. Videos should highlight dancing in technique class material from two different forms (jazz, modern, tap, African, hip hop, ballet, etc).
Please describe the class or classes, what techniques are being highlighted, who was teaching and where and when was it filmed. If there’s more than one individual in the video, please identify yourself by clothing or positioning in the studio. Feel free to provide anything else you’d like us to know.
Please provide a link to a one-minute video of a performance in any dance style. It can be self-choreographed.
Please describe the solo being performed and identify the choreographer, title and where and when was it filmed. Feel free to provide anything else you think we should know.
Upload a one-page PDF (300 word minimum) that describes how your interests and experience relates to your intended college choice and career path. Your statement may discuss your past dance experiences, teachers and/or training, and how they connect and apply to your future.
