UWM Announces Plans to Close Waukesha Campus

The Academic Success Center (ASC) provides academic support to all UWM at Waukesha students.

Our staff is committed to helping students develop the skills and foster the intellectual independence to reach their academic potential and achieve their goals. In the ASC, you will find a welcoming study atmosphere with encouraging staff and dedicated students. It is an ideal place for individual and group study and a great place to connect to the campus community. Come on in, pull up a chair, and let’s get to work!

The ASC is located in Westview 100 and houses campus tutoring, the Prosper Program, and TRiO Student Support Services. All students are welcome!

Campus Tutoring

Free tutoring in writing, math, and various subject areas are available in the ASC. The Math Lab and Writing Center are staffed by professional and peer tutors. Math and writing tutoring appointments can be booked online through your Navigate account. You can also stop by the ASC to schedule a tutoring session. Subject tutoring includes biology, accounting, physics, and other challenging classes. Requests can be made for other subject areas. These sessions are usually held once a week. Check the ASC and Westview monitor for schedules.

Prosper and TRiO Programs

The ASC is also home to two academic success programs for students who are motivated to succeed and recognize the benefits of having partners along the way. The Prosper and TRiO programs offer comprehensive support networks for students who want to achieve their highest potential.
