About
Students choose UWM at Waukesha for its personalized education style, quality teaching and affordable price.
At the Waukesha campus, students build a strong academic foundation that results in an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree and the start of a bachelor’s degree at UWM or another UW System campus. Nontraditional students who are expanding upon their skill sets or exploring their passions are also an integral part of the campus community.
Academics
Select from a wide array of classes covering more than 30 subject areas, which span everything from arts, humanities and social sciences to math, natural sciences and business. Waukesha campus students also get to choose from in-person and online classes, which means they have more schedule flexibility while pursuing their education goals.
Student Life and Resources
At UWM at Waukesha, we’re proud of our robust student life with student organizations and a wide range of opportunities. Students have access to a variety of resources that make the adjustment to college easy. With tutoring, online writing labs, student involvement, advising and small class sizes, students are supported through their college journey.
UWM at Waukesha History
UWM at Waukesha was created in 2018 when UW-Waukesha joined with UWM as part of the University of Wisconsin System’s reorganization of the two-year campuses formerly known as UW Colleges. Now students at the Waukesha campus get the benefits of being part of a large research university, including big UWM social events and Panther basketball games, while still enjoying a small, friendly college community on their home campus. Together, the campuses provide more valuable options for students and their families.
