Orientation Sessions

One-on-One Check-In

First Year Students under 21 years old

12 – 12:30 p.m.

Transfer and Adult First Year Students

1 – 1:45 p.m.

Start at Union Concourse to obtain your name badge and transition to the Fireside Lounge.

After checking in at the Union Concourse, you’ll meet with a staff member to discuss your top priorities for the day, receive your panthercard, determine which sessions to attend, and make a plan to accomplish your to do list so you are ready for the 1st day of classes.

  2. Complete University Terms & Conditions Agreement

  3. Complete Panther Transition Training

    Modules are located in your Orientation course in Canvas and are due Aug. 21

  4. Suggested Steps Based on your Needs

    • Confirm your dietary needs with Dining
    • Purchase a parking permit
    • Confirm necessary accommodations through the Accessibility Resource center
    • Plan for your living arrangements with Off-Campus Resource Center or University Housing
    • Confirm Military/Veteran benefits
    • Plan for childcare or create a plan before the first day of classes
