Visit Information Header

The visit information below will help you navigate campus! We look forward to seeing you soon.

If you have any questions, please reach out to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at 414-229-4397 or email uwmtours@uwm.edu.

Parking On Campus

Parking is free for visitors attending a tour or information session. Please follow these instructions carefully to secure your space for free.

Parking is located in the Union Garage (2200 E Kenwood Blvd, Milwaukee, WI 53211).

Guests may park in any spot in the Union Garage; we recommend the B basement level. Please pull a ticket upon entering the garage and bring this ticket with you to the Welcome Center.

We are unable to dismiss parking citations. To avoid receiving a parking ticket, follow any additional posted parking signage or restrictions.
Not parking at the Welcome Center?

If you choose to park in a different lot, we will not be able to validate your parking. If you’re not stopping into the Welcome Center and want to head straight to your information session, look up the location of your information session.

Arriving To Your Campus Tour

When arriving for a campus tour please allow yourself at least 10 minutes to walk from your car to the Welcome Center.

Your tour experience consists of a presentation and a 90 minute walking tour of campus. Please note our tour groups depart from the Welcome Center 20-30 minutes after the start time of your campus tour experience. Should you be arriving late, give our Welcome Center a call 414-229-4397.

Navigating to the Welcome Center from the Union Garage

If you park on the B level of the Union Garage, take the elevator up to G Level. Exit the Union onto Kenwood Blvd and turn right. You will see the Welcome Center straight ahead. At the stoplight, cross Maryland Ave and you will arrive at the Welcome Center.  You may also exit the Union Garage directly onto Kenwood Blvd and turn right.

Find Your Information Session

When scheduling a UWM campus tour, we recommend selecting an Academic or Campus Resource Information Session to pair with your campus tour. These sessions are recommended for students who have decided on their major course of study or are exploring potential majors and resources. As a prospective student, your session gives you an opportunity to learn specifics about your desired major and the school or college that offers the program.
