Volunteering with the Office of Sustainability is a fun and easy way to get connected to campus and to other Panthers! Our volunteering program is open to students, staff, faculty, and community members, and we are grateful for the ongoing support of our many volunteers! Without them, we would not be able to steward our robust network of gardens and natural spaces, which in turn provide nourishment for students, pollinators, and much more.
Most of our volunteering includes stewardship of various campus gardens, pollinator gardens, and green infrastructure spaces between April to October each year, so plan to be outside getting doing gardening and other physical tasks.
Please register using our Sustainability Volunteer Form. We update volunteer offerings seasonally, so continue to check back on the Volunteer Form for seasonal updates and special event offerings.

If you are interested in taking on a special volunteer project, please reach out to us at ask-sustainability@uwm.edu. Options for special projects include, but are not limited to, supporting events, tabling, conducting waste audits, sorting seeds, video and photography, and more. These projects are available on a limited and as-needed basis, so it is best to reach out to us with your interests.
