The Office of Sustainability prioritizes student experiential learning as a cornerstone of building a more sustainable campus. There are several ways you can support our mission and students!
- Donate to the Sustainability Fund with the UWM Foundation
- Open year-round, you can become a sustaining donor or provide a one-time donation. Contact Lindsay Frost, Sustainability Director, at lgfrost@uwm.edu for more details.
- Donate on the UWM Foundation Website, and search “Sustainability Fund” for your designation.
- Donations to the Sustainability Fund directly support student internships, engaging events, and special initiatives such as habitat restoration on campus and our composting program expansion.
- Become a Sponsor of Signature Events or Signature Sustainability Programming
- Each year, the Office of Sustainability hosts a week-long “Campus Sustainability Week” in October and a week-long celebration for Earth Week each April. You can sponsor these events to gain visibility and connect with sustainability-minded students.
- Additionally, the Office hosts signature programming, including our Sustainability and Resilience Ambassadors program and new student fellowships and internships focused on core sustainability themes: water, energy, transportation, waste, land stewardship, and more.
