Progress Reports

What are Progress Reports?

A Progress Report is early course feedback submitted by your instructors. Progress Reports are generally submitted through Navigate, starting as early as the 2nd week of the semester through the 9th week (Jan 29-Mar 24, 2024)

Why did I receive a Progress Report?

There are various reasons why you may have received a Progress Report from your instructors, including: low attendance, missing assignments, or poor grades on first quizzes/exams. The purpose of Progress Reports is to communicate your academic progress in a course to you and your Success Team (e.g., Academic Advisor, Success Coach, etc.)

Next steps you can take when you get a Progress Report 

There are different next steps you can take in response to a Progress Report. You can:  

Attend Office Hours to connect with the instructor(s) who submitted the Progress Report to receive specific feedback on how you can improve your course performance 

Consider signing up for Academic Skills Tutoring at the Student Success Center (Bolton Hall 120) to build your college study skills like time management & reading 

Check your syllabi to see if the course you’re struggling in offers Tutoring or Supplemental Instruction (SI) to get more support with understanding the materials 

(If applicable), connect with your assigned Academic Advisor or Success Coach for holistic advising support. They may be able to connect you to additional campus resources
