Fibers Made Easy: Granny Squares Session 3
Interested in learning the foundations of crochet? Granny squares are a great place to build or hone skills in fiber art! Individual squares can be displayed or combined to create larger objects like scarves, blankets, or clothing pieces! Join us for this one-night course, to learn the basics, including successfully selecting yarn, reading a pattern, planning your project, and creating foundation stitches! Fiber arts like crochet and knitting are a great tool to manage stress and anxiety and an even greater way to meet people while engaging in a fun communal activity.
Collagraph Printmaking

Over two sessions, participants will design, ink, and print their unique plates while experimenting with this sustainable and versatile printmaking technique. UWM Student Union (UN) 2200 East Kenwood Blvd., Milwaukee, WI, United StatesScandal of Cannes 1973, Alejandro Jodorowsky’s flood of sacrilegious imagery and existential symbolism is a spiritual quest for enlightenment pitting illusion against truth. The Alchemist (Jodorowsky) recruits a group of people from all walks of life to divest themselves of their worldly baggage and embark on a journey to ascend the Holy Mountain and displace the gods who rule from its terrible shadow. Preceded each night by a surprise short by the Mexican experimental film collective, Colectivo los Ingrávidos.

The continual restaging and reformatting of the past is the theme of Suwichakornpong’s Come Here, which follows four young actors on an oneiric trip to the site of Thailand's infamous Death Railway built by conscripted workers and Allied prisoners during the Second World War. Meanwhile, a woman alone in the jungle changes form, and history folds itself back on top of the present.
