For General Assistance

These organizations help connect people to community support resources and services in the Milwaukee metro area and beyond. If you’re not sure where to start, we recommend either of the services below, or, you can also contact the UWM Dean of Students Office.

The following page contains links to financial support resources outside of UWM. We cannot recommend individual private loan lenders, however to learn more about private loan options please visit the Financial Aid page on private loans.

Food insecurity is common among college students. Please see the link below for how you can find pantries and other food access resources near you. Don’t forget to check out the UWM Food Center & Pantry!

If you are looking for off-campus information or resources for physical care, mental health care or for sexual assault or domestic violence, the links in this tile will help you connect. Please keep in mind Norris Health Center can also help you find off-campus care.
