Named for Golda Meir, the first female prime minister of Israel who spent most of her formative years in Milwaukee, this library boasts the distinction as the largest library under one roof in Wisconsin. Students also can find the American Geographical Society Library, which has over 1.3 million maps, atlases and other data files here. The Daniel M. Soref Learning Commons, on the first floor of the west wing, features group study rooms, the largest computer lab on campus, 24-hour access Sunday through Thursday, and a Grind coffee shop. The east wing contains more study space, tutoring and supplemental instruction for introductory courses.
