Suicide Prevention Awareness Day
In recognition of September being Suicide Prevention Month, join the UWM community on September 25th for Suicide Prevention Awareness Day. This day is a time to spread hope, raise awareness, show support, and share vital information for those affected by suicide. Our goal is to ensure that everyone has access to the resources they need to discuss suicide prevention and to seek help.
Kayaking Lake Michigan

Join us as we launch from UWM's School of Freshwater Science public boat landing on the Kinnickinnic River and paddle out on to Lake Michigan. We'll have epic views of the city's skyline and lighthouse. No previous paddling experience is required. All transportation, equipment, and instruction will be provided.

The Department of Film, Video, Animation and New Genres at UWM is home to a celebrated group of faculty and staff whose creative work spans disciplines, genres, and modes of production.
