Learn to Surf Lake Michigan
October 12 | 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Did you know that the Milwaukee area is one of the surfing capitals of the Midwest? Lake Michigan is great to learn how to surf and provides a practice ground for bigger water. This surfing class is geared toward first time surfers who have never been on a board before! We will provide wet suits, personal flotation devices (PFD), surf boards, instruction, booties (if needed), and gloves (if needed). You will learn the beginner skills of how to “pop up,” stand up, and control a surfboard. Registration OPENS 2 weeks before and CLOSES 2 days before the trip. Transportation will NOT be provided to Atwater Beach. Limit of 1 registration per semester.
