A new GER policy (see above) was approved in May 2024, which affects the GER distribution requirements (except for Cultural Diversity) and has an implementation date of Fall 2026. The new GER policy does not affect Oral and Written Communication (OWC) and Quantitative Literacy (QL) courses.

The APCC will not approve any more courses following the old distribution requirements.

The APCC will begin working toward the implementation of the new GER requirements in Fall 2024.
