The College of Letters & Science has a formal policy for handling grievances, concerns and grade appeals. Generally speaking, and as outlined in the policy, the first course of action is to discuss the matter with your instructor. Should that not resolve the issue, appeals may be brought to the undergraduate program director, Dr. Deborah Hannula (hannula@uwm.edu) within 30 days of the event/matter that prompted the appeal or grievance.
