| Time | Agenda |
|---|---|
| 9:00–10:00am | Introduction to the Clinical Program and Faculty |
| 10:00am–1:45pm | Interviews with Faculty and Graduate Students You will have a total of 3 interviews, one with your potential mentor, one with another faculty member, and one with a pair of students. The meeting with your primary mentor of interest will be 45 minutes long. Your other meetings will be 30 minutes. Meetings with faculty will be on a different zoom link than the one above. You should have plenty of breaks during this time. Feel free to use that as a break from Zoom, to eat, or to check out some of the other material about our program that will be available on our website. |
| 1:45pm–2:00pm | Lunch time No meetings, enjoy your break! This is short, but you should have other breaks prior to this during the interviews. |
| 2:0–-2:30pm | Diversity Committee-sponsored Discussion of Commitment to Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion in Program You and a few other applicants will meet with a small group of current graduate students to discuss efforts to support diversity, equity, and inclusion in the program, including program climate, training opportunities, and diversity committee initiatives. Faculty will not attend these panels. |
| 2:35–3:05pm | Informal Discussion with Graduate Students You and a few other applicants will meet with a small group of current graduate students at various levels of training to discuss their experience at various stages of the program and to provide honest and informative answers to your questions. Topics to be covered can include funding and cost of living, living in Milwaukee, program climate, clinical training in the clinic and community, and whatever else you have questions about! |
| 3:15–4:45pm | Lab Virtual Open House Visit your primary lab of interest. Several graduate students from your primary lab of interest will be available to answer any questions you may have. The faculty PI may also be present. Each lab has structured this a bit differently, but the point is for you to be able to meet with students in the lab and get a bit more time with your potential faculty member of interest. |
| 4:45–5:00pm | Closing meeting with the Director of Clinical Training. |
