Graduate Admission Information and Materials

Thank you for your interest in the graduate programs in the Department of Psychology at UW-Milwaukee. We are accepting applications for two Psychology PhD programs (Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience) and one Psychology terminal MS program (Health Psychology).

Application deadlines are December 1, 2024 for the PhD Programs. For the Neuroscience PhD program, late applications may be considered under some circumstances. Before submitting a late application, contact the Neuroscience Admissions Chair (Dr. Caitlin Bowman, bowman2@uwm.edu) to inquire and include your potential faculty mentor(s) in your inquiry. Review for the M.S. program in Health Psychology will begin in late January. Applications for the M.S. program received after March 1, 2025 will not be considered.

The UWM Graduate School will offer Open House (in-person event) on 11/7/2024, Refer to this page: https://uwm.edu/graduateschool/openhouse/. The UWM Graduate School will pay the application fee for prospective students who start their application between 8/15/24 and our application deadline (12/1/2024) and follow all instructions on the fee waiver document which will be provided closer to the event. This is an in-person Open House and you must physically attend to be eligible for the Graduate School to pay your application fee.

If you are unable to join us for the Nov. 7 open house, the UWM Graduate School will also offer a virtual information session on 10/17/2024. Applicants to the Psychology graduate programs who attend the virtual information session in full may be eligible for an application fee waiver.
